18 Years of Marriage for Cindy and I this Month!!!
My wife and I desire your continued prayers not only for our ministry in Romania, but also for our marriage and home. Too many times the families of missionaries are overlooked, as those who support them focus on their ministry activities. Please remember that the servants of the Lord can never accomplish the work of the Lord effectively without maintaining their lives in their homes. Recently while preaching through the book of Ephesians, we were all reminded afresh, and moved by the Spirit of God, to continually focus on our homes and not just the souls of men. How God’s people must be reminded in this area to escape the danger that lurks to ruin! Cindy and I enjoyed our 18th anniversary on the 22nd of this month. We desire to be what God wants us to be for Him and for one another. We rejoice in the children He has blessed us with and desire them to serve the Lord all the days of their lives. Thank you for remembering the wives and children of your missionaries! They are the overlooked heroes of missionary life.
Below is a picture of our recent college evangelistic effort. Bro. Cornel and Mrs. Mari are doing a good job in this good work. We had 18 first time visitors.
Although no one received Christ that evening, the seed was planted. There were several unsaved Orthodox students present which was a miracle in itself. We were told that college students would never come to a preaching meeting,
especially by an Independent Baptist church. They were wrong! Charismatic, sinful rock concerts are not the only thing that attracts young people. The Bible works too! Pray for fruit here.
As you know, we have been announcing that all monies sent in the month of June are going toward church property for the Brasov Independent Baptist Church. Next month we will report on what came in. Pray for this!
We also want you to join us in praise to God for the souls that were recently saved in the village at the Racos Independent Baptist Church. Bro. Zander is doing a good job in that difficult ministry. They had about 50 persons last week and are discipling the believers with my doctrinal book which was translated into Romanian and printed by our printing ministry. Pray for real spiritual growth!
Thank you all for helping us stand for Jesus in this place.
