LoganLetter #50 (January 2008)

Dear Saints,

Praise the Lord for another year to serve the Master! May we all redeem the time and make our lives count for His glory. This may be our last year on this earth. Jesus may come in 2008. We must work while it is day for the night is approaching.

THE PRINTING MINISTRY IS UP AND RUNNING!

THE BIBLE INSTITUTE HAS STARTED BACK UP WITH FOUR MEN!

Above you see the picture of our Bible Institute students. Cornel, Johnny, Adrian, and Danute are studying with us this semester. We have other men who are serving the Lord in the church but have not yet enrolled in the Bible Institute. Peter, our graduate from last year, is still serving in the church and is a blessing to us. I recently gave him the charge of the Wednesday night Bible study for a month. Continue to pray for Peter’s growth and for all these men. This is the hope of the work of God in Romania if it is to last.

The students above are holding in their hands the newly printed copies of my doctrinal book for new Christians (Bible Foundations) in the Romanian language. The new year has found us getting our hands wet with ink for the glory of God. Pray for fruitfulness and an increase to be given from the Lord through this good work. I want to extend special thanks to all those who have given monetarily in order for us to make the printing a reality. Putting first class Biblical materials into the language of these people is a necessity, which has never been done in a great way heretofore, but one that by God’s grace in which we will have a significant part. The work load to translate materials, print them, distribute, and teach them is a great undertaking, but one that fills our hearts with expectation and responsibility. Pray for the men that we train and for the materials that we distribute. Our endeavour in striking the flame of truth in the darkness can only grow more brightly as the Spirit of God moves through the word and through the men! Move us Lord! Move us indeed!

The Church in Racos under the leadership of Bro. Zander has reported eight souls trusting Christ as Saviour. Several of these adults were coming to the services when Bro. Sutek and I were preaching there. We have prayed for and preached to them for some time. They have always listened but never responded to the gospel since they were Orthodox Romanians. What a blessing to see such an answer to prayer and fruit from seed sown. The husbandman must have long patience for the fruit. When it comes, it is sweet.

May the Lord add His fruitful blessing to each of your ministries. Don’t quit before the harvest arrives. Be faithful unto death. His worthiness demands this from us all.

Walk worthy of God (I Thessalonians 2:12),
