Church Progress

We reported last month of a drop in attendance because of our forced move from the

previous church location in Brasov. I am happy to report that through the blessing of the Master and our labourious efforts that we are now seeing visitors each week in Harman where the church meets. Door to door visitation, tract distribution, open-air preaching, and

neighborly conversation continues each week in order that the seed of God’s word may be spread and so that people might be reached for Christ. We have especially been blessed with many children now coming to our church services; howbeit, most of them without their parents. We have started special classes for them. The picture above is of a few of these children with Mrs. Janet Cook who came with her husband Greg to visit us. They are from our home church family and have always been a real blessing to us. Normally, we have about 15 children for each service. On their first visit with us, I taught them the name of the first book of the Bible. How amazing it is to see youngsters who know absolutely nothing about the Bible but are hungry to learn. Pray that we will make a difference in their lives.

Potatoes for the Families
It was a blessing to work in the field this month and harvest potatoes
for our needy families. At right is pictured some gypsy families that
were helped. Also other Romanian families in our church have and
will continue to benefit from our planting and raising crops. The
potato harvest was not great this year, but it was sufficient to provide
almost 1,300 pounds of this staple food for at least 6-8 different
families connected with our ministry. This really helps many of them
through the winter. It was also good work for our family and others
in the church. Praise the Lord for the opportunity to show people the
love of Christ through the kindness of the Spirit.

 The Last Machine
We bless the Lord and thank each of you who have prayed and supported this ministry.
By God’s grace we were able to purchase the Last Machine for our printing ministry.
We will now service all of the machines, and Bro. Adam Zander will begin preparing the  computer software and equipment for the start of our printing efforts. Stay tuned in the future for our progress on the printing front. Also please pray for those who are translating and editing many of our books which we desire to print.
